Osama Abu Irshaid

Osama Abu Irshaid, AMP board member, is the founder and editor of Al Meezan newspaper. He is also a highly sought after political analyst and commentator. He also lectures frequently on Middle East and American politics. Mr. Abu Irshaid has also authored and co-authored several books, articles and studies, published in English and Arabic, on issues relevant to the Middle East and its politcal climate. He is the co-author of the controversial study: "Hamas: Ideological Rigiditiy and Political Flexibility," which was published by the United States Institute of Peace in 2009. Mr. Abu Irshaid is a regular commentator on Palestinian and Middle Eastern affairs as well as on American domestic and foreign policy on various Arabic satellite networks, such as Al Jazeera, Syrian TV, Al-Alam, Abu-Dhabi, and Alhiwar TV. 

 

Mr. Abu Irshaid is s completing his PhD at Loughborough University, in the United Kingdon. Al Meezan is a national newspaper, published in Arabic.
