Sami Kishawi

Sami Kishawi is a Palestinian-American currently studying biology and human rights as an undergraduate at the University of Chicago.  He heads the University of Chicago's Students for Justice in Palestine organization and serves on the executive committee of American Muslims for Palestine - Chicago chapter.  In the summer of 2011, Sami visited Gaza City and used his blog, Sixteen Minutes to Palestine, to report extensively about everyday living in the occupied territories.
